Dear Senga

I am currently working in a care home and have been told that I need to register with SSSC however I have previously worked as a dental nurse and still hold my GDC registration.

When trying to register online it said that I cannot continue with my registration as I am still GSC registered.

My work is saying that I must register.

Hello Leanne

If you are already registered with one of the regulatory bodies, you do not need to register with them unless you are a social worker or social work student. Advise your line manager to look here.
