    Well-led KLOE

    Within the CQC assessment framework under Well Led the prompt W2.8 asks, ‘How does the service assure itself that it has robust arrangements (including appropriate internal and external validation) to ensure the security, availability, sharing and integrity of confidential data, and records and data management systems, in line with data security standards? Are lessons learned when there are data security breaches? ‘ Knowing where data is stored, how it moves and who has access is an important step to evidence compliance with the KLOE, as well as UK GDPR and the Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
