The scope of this policy has been amended to include reference to general PPE provision where necessary, and the requirement for risk assessment clarified as a determining factor for PPE provision. Section 5.9 has been updated as it is a legal requirement for employers that FFP3 masks must be fit tested on all health and care staff who may be required to wear one. Additional relevant legislation has been added and references to Public Health England (PHE) have been replaced with references to the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). Links have been checked and updated.
